Vivo has introduced two new smartphones in its Y-series lineup in Singapore. The newly launched Vivo Y11 5G and Vivo Y21 5G share many hardware specifications but differ in their rear camera design and a few other features. Here’s everything we know about the new phones.
The Vivo Y11 5G has been launched in a single configuration with 4GB RAM and 128GB storage, priced at SGD 199.
Meanwhile, the Vivo Y21 5G is available in a 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant priced at SGD 279.
Although the two smartphones share similar internal specifications, their rear designs are different.
The Vivo Y11 5G features a square-shaped camera module positioned at the top-left corner of the back panel. Inside the module are two circular camera cutouts, along with an LED flash and Aura lighting. This design closely resembles that of the Vivo Y51 Pro 5G, whose specifications were recently leaked and which is expected to launch in India soon.

The Vivo Y21 5G, on the other hand, uses a vertical pill-shaped camera module that houses two circular camera cutouts. In this design, the LED flash is placed outside the camera housing along with Aura lighting.
Both smartphones come with a 6.74-inch HD+ LCD display that supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. The panel can reach up to 1,200 nits of brightness in High Brightness Mode (HBM), making it easier to view in bright conditions.
Powering the devices is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The chipset is paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. Users also get the option to expand storage up to 2TB using a microSD card.
The two models differ slightly when it comes to virtual RAM support. The Vivo Y11 5G offers up to 4GB of virtual RAM expansion, whereas the Vivo Y21 5G supports up to 6GB of virtual RAM. On the software side, both smartphones run OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
In terms of cameras, the Vivo Y11 5G features a 13-megapixel primary rear camera accompanied by a 0.08-megapixel secondary sensor. Meanwhile, the Vivo Y21 5G comes with a more capable 50-megapixel main camera along with a 0.08-megapixel secondary lens.
Despite the difference in rear cameras, both smartphones include the same 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls.
Both devices are backed by a large 6,500mAh battery. However, the charging speeds differ between the two models. The Vivo Y11 5G supports 15W wired fast charging, while the Vivo Y21 5G offers faster 44W wired charging support.
