Vivo X500 Pro Gets 16GB RAM Variants With Up to 1TB Storage

Vivo X500 Pro has received two new RAM and storage configurations in China, adding 16GB RAM with 512GB storage and 16GB RAM with 1TB storage to the lineup. The new variants were spotted on Vivo’s retail listings after the phone’s September 21 launch.

The 16GB + 512GB variant costs CNY 7,999, while the 16GB + 1TB version is priced at CNY 8,999. This takes the Vivo X500 Pro’s maximum RAM to 16GB while retaining the existing 1TB storage option.

Vivo X500 Pro New Variant Prices Compared

The newly added configurations are available with 16GB RAM and two storage options. Here are the prices in China:

The new 16GB + 512GB variant sits CNY 500 above the existing 12GB + 512GB version, while the 16GB + 1TB variant is CNY 500 above the existing 12GB + 1TB configuration. Vivo’s official China product page now lists both new variants.

The Vivo X500 Pro features a 6.36-inch AMOLED display with a 2660 × 1216 resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 144Hz. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro, which is based on a 2nm manufacturing process.

For storage, the phone uses LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. With the latest additions, buyers can choose between 12GB and 16GB RAM, while storage options extend up to 1TB.

The Vivo X500 Pro packs a 6,510mAh battery with support for 90W wired charging and 40W wireless charging. It runs OriginOS 7 based on Android 17.

For cameras, the phone gets a 50MP ZEISS Super Dynamic main camera, a 64MP ZEISS APO super telephoto camera and a 50MP ZEISS ultrawide camera. The telephoto camera supports 3.5x optical zoom, while the phone can record video at up to 8K resolution.

Vivo X500 Pro 16GB RAM Variants vs X500 Pro Max

The Vivo X500 Pro Max also gets 16GB RAM variants, although its pricing and hardware position it above the standard Pro model. The 16GB + 512GB X500 Pro Max costs CNY 8,499, which is CNY 500 more than the equivalent X500 Pro configuration.

The Pro Max also gets a 16GB + 1TB version priced at CNY 9,499, although this particular configuration includes satellite communication support. Vivo’s official product page also lists a 16GB + 1TB Creator’s Package at CNY 12,999.

The main differences between the two Pro models are therefore not limited to RAM and storage. The X500 Pro Max gets a larger 6.85-inch display, 8,000mAh battery and 200MP ZEISS APO telephoto camera, while the X500 Pro has a more compact 6.36-inch display, 6,510mAh battery and 64MP telephoto camera.

Will Vivo X500 Pro 16GB Variants Launch in India?

Both Vivo X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max are powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9600 Pro

Vivo has confirmed that the X500 series will receive a global release. However, the company has not confirmed which RAM and storage configurations will be sold internationally. As of now India pricing has not been announced yet for either of the X500 Pro variants.
