Vivo X300e Debuts in China with Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, 7,200mAh Battery and 50MP Triple Rear Cameras

Vivo has officially introduced the Vivo X300e in China after several days of leaks and teasers. The smartphone joins the company’s X300 lineup as the fifth model, following the Vivo X300, Vivo X300 Pro, Vivo X300s and Vivo X300 Ultra. Although the Vivo X300 FE is also part of the global X300 series, it has not been launched in the Chinese market.

Ahead of its official debut, the Vivo X300e was listed on the China Telecom database, revealing most of its specifications. Vivo had already showcased the phone’s design and later released a promotional video highlighting the device from different angles while confirming that it is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chipset.

The Vivo X300e is priced at 4,799 Yuan for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant, while the 12GB + 512GB model costs 5,299 Yuan. The smartphone is available in Moonlight White, Midnight Black, and Sunlight Orange color options.

The Vivo X300e is currently available in China. While the company is expected to introduce the smartphone in global markets at a later stage, Vivo has not yet officially confirmed its international launch plans.

Vivo X300e – Key Specifications

The Vivo X300e sports a 6.59-inch flat AMOLED display with a resolution of 2750 x 1260 pixels and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel supports 10-bit color, the P3 wide color gamut, and offers up to 2,000Hz instant touch sampling in supported games. It also comes with 4320Hz PWM dimming, AI eye comfort technology, SGS low blue light certification, and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner that can unlock the phone even with wet fingers.

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It houses a massive 7,200mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging and runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6.

For photography, the Vivo X300e features a 50-megapixel Samsung JN1 front-facing camera with autofocus. On the rear, it offers a triple-camera setup comprising a 50-megapixel Sony IMX921 primary sensor with OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto camera with OIS and up to 3x optical zoom.

The handset supports up to 4K video recording using the front camera, primary rear camera, and telephoto lens. However, unlike the other Vivo X300 series smartphones, the X300e does not support the telephoto extender accessory.

Additional features include stereo speakers, an X-axis linear vibration motor, VC cooling system, NFC, an IR blaster, dual SIM 5G support, Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, a USB Type-C port, and IP68 plus IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Depending on the color variant, the device measures between 7.79mm and 7.99mm in thickness and weighs from 199.5 grams to 203 grams.
