Following the recent launch of the V29e, Vivo has added two new devices to its mid-range lineup: the V29 and V29 Pro.
Designed to make a strong impression in this segment, the V29 series is definitely a lineup to watch out for.
Both handsets are loaded to the brim with features, so let’s take a look at what the Vivo V29 has to offer to the Indian market.
Both devices will be available on Flipkart and Vivo’s eStore
The Vivo V29 series stands as a testament to Vivo’s commitment to innovation, while sharing a design lineage with the Vivo’s previous V series mobiles.
The devices come with a glass body in colours including Himalayan Blue and Majestic Red with India’s first 3D particle technology.
The process behind this innovative design involves 3D Magnetic Particles and nano-scale Magnetic Particles.
Both devices have extremely trim dimensions and are quite lightweight.
While the Vivo V29 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor, the V29 Pro is equipped with a more advanced MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor.
The devices boast a captivating 6.78-inch Curved AMOLED panel, ensuring sharp visuals with its resolution of 2800×1260 pixels and fluidity provided by a 120Hz refresh rate.
Delving into the hardware specifics, both devices incorporate a robust 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a generous 256GB UFS 3.1 storage.
On the software spectrum, the devices operate on Vivo’s Funtouch OS, rooted in the Android 13 platform.
Shifting the lens to its photographic capabilities, the V29 Pro showcases a versatile triple-camera setup.
This ensemble includes a razor-sharp 50MP primary camera bolstered with OIS and an aperture of f/1.88.
Complementing this is an 8MP wide-angle lens featuring an f/2.2 aperture.
The real distinction comes in the form of a telephoto lens with an f/1.98 aperture, exclusive to the V29 Pro while the regular V29 has to make do with a 2MP depth shooter.
Additionally, both the V29 and V29 Pro are enhanced with the Aura Light flash at the rear.
For selfie aficionados, a 50MP front-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.0 ensures that every shot captures the finest details.
The V29 and V29 Pro have a 4600 mAh battery and support 80W FlashCharge with an advanced heat dissipation system.
The smart charging algorithm ensures that the battery maintains at least 80 percent health after 1600 charge-discharge cycles.
Both phones have a curvature of 55 degrees for an ergonomic grip and a one-piece narrow frame of 0.24 cm (2.4 mm).
The India-exclusive multi-style includes 3 different LUTs designed with the Indian wedding colour palette in mind.
