Vivo is all set to start the sale of its latest mid-range smartphone, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G, in India today i.e. April 21 at 12:00 PM IST. The smartphone was unveiled in the country last week and stands out with its massive 9000+mAh battery and feature-packed specifications. Here’s everything you need to know about the phone and sale.
The Vivo T5 Pro 5G is available in three RAM and storage variants. The 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model is priced at ₹29,999, while the 8GB + 256GB variant costs ₹33,999. The top-end 12GB + 256GB version is priced at ₹39,999.
Vivo is also offering an instant bank discount of ₹3,000 effectively bringing the starting price down to ₹27,999.
Buyers can purchase the smartphone via Flipkart and the official Vivo India website.
As for colour options, the smartphone is offered in Cosmic Black and Glacier Blue colours.
The Vivo T5 Pro 5G features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution (1,260 x 2,800 pixels), supporting a 144Hz refresh rate and up to 5,000 nits of local peak brightness. The display also includes 2,160Hz PWM dimming, a pixel density of 449 ppi, HDR10+ support, Sleep Comfort mode, and Anti-Motion Sickness mode
Additionally, it carries SGS Low Blue Light and Low Flicker certifications. The handset is built with IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
Powering the device is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 octa-core processor from Qualcomm with a peak clock speed of 2.7GHz. Vivo claims the smartphone has scored over 11,80,000 points on the AnTuTu benchmark. It is a dual-SIM device that runs on Android 16 with ColorOS 16.
For thermal performance, the phone is equipped with a vapour chamber cooling system featuring a large 7,000 sq mm heat dissipation area. It comes with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
On the camera front, the Vivo T5 Pro 5G sports a dual rear camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 primary sensor with optical image stabilisation and support for up to 10x lossless zoom alongwith a 2-megapixel bokeh sensor. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone includes a 32-megapixel front camera. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording.
The device is powered by a large 9,020mAh silicon carbon battery and supports 90W wired fast charging. It also includes a range of sensors such as an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor and gyroscope.
Connectivity options on the Vivo T5 Pro 5G include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and a USB Type-C port.
The smartphone measures 8.25mm in thickness and weighs approximately 213 grams.
