Bharti Airtel, the second-largest telecom provider in India, announced on Monday that its consolidated net profit for the second quarter ended September 2022 increased by 89 percent year over year to Rs. 2,145 crore due to higher average realisation per subscriber. In the recently completed quarter, total sales increased 22% year over year to Rs. 34,527 crores, according to a statement.

According to an Airtel statement, the average revenue per user (ARPU) for the quarter increased to Rs. 190 from Rs. 153 in Q2 FY22 due to the company’s “continued focus on quality consumers, feature phone to smartphone upgradation, and data monetization.”
Quarterly Results From Reliance Jio

It shared an increase in net profit of 28% year over year to Rs. 4,518 crores for the September quarter. To use Airtel services in India, you don’t require a new SIM card. According to the operator, Airtel 5G Plus will work with current 4G SIM cards. Customers can also use their current data plans, which are the standard Airtel plans offered in the market, to access 5G services till the rollout is complete. However, a 5G-capable device is required in order to use 5G.
