Motorola Edge 40 has been in the works for quite some time but the launch date still doesn't seem to be in sight, even though the company has introduced the Edge 40 Pro globally recently. After being spotted on Geekbench, the Motorola Edge 40 has appeared on USA's FCC and UAE's TDRA websites. The latter confirms the marketing name of the phone for the first time and reveals the model number XT2303-2. The listing doesn't reveal much else about the phone. On the other hand, the FCC certification revealed the Motorola Edge 40 has the model number XT2303-1 and XT2303-2 (eSIM + USIM). That's pretty much everything that is revealed via the FCC certification. Motorola Edge 40 Specifications The Motorola Edge 40 will have a 6.55-inch FHD+ pOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and 1200nits peak brightness. The phone could pack a 4,400mAh battery with 68W fast charging support and 15W wireless charging support. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. The Motorola Edge 40 could be equipped with an in-display fingerprint sensor for security.
