There are rumours that Xiaomi 13 Ultra might debut in May or June 2023. While the company is yet to mention anything about the phone, the rumour mill continues to leak new details at regular intervals. Tipster Yogesh Brar has revealed some key specifications and features of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra. This suggests the camera setup on the flagship might see an upgrade. Xiaomi launched the 13 series late last year in China. The company launched the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro globally ahead of MWC 2023. The lineup currently includes only two premium phones. Xiaomi is expected to launch a new Ultra model later this year. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra might launch in May or June 2023. The company has not confirmed the launch details of the phone yet. However, the rumour mill continues to churn out more information about the upcoming Xiaomi Ultra smartphone. Tipster Yogesh Brar has now listed the leaked specifications and features of the upcoming Xiaomi flagship smartphone. Xiaomi 13 Ultra specifications, features (expected) According to the tipster, the Xiaomi 13 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen2 SoC much like the Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. The phone is tipped to sport a 6.7-inch AMOLED LTPO display with a QHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The handset may come with flat edges on the side but that can’t be said for certain yet. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra is tipped to feature quad cameras on the back and if Xiaomi 13 Pro cameras are anything to go by, the Ultra should be even better. The camera setup will include a 50MP primary camera, which could be the 1-inch Sony IMX989 sensor. The other sensors include a 50MP ultra-wide-angle lens and two 50MP telephoto cameras. The Xiaomi flagship is tipped to come with a 32MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats. Xiaomi should continue the Leica branding for the optics. The chipset is expected to be paired with 12/16GB RAM and 256/512GB storage options. Surprisingly, there might not be a 1TB storage version. The phone is expected to run Android 13-based MIUI 14 custom skin out of the box. Lastly, the Xiaomi 13 Ultra is expected to pack a 4900mAh battery with support for 90W fast charging and 50W wireless charging. This is surprising considering the Xiaomi 13 Pro came with 120W charging support. The Xiaomi 13 and the Xiaomi 13 Pro smartphones which were released in the global market earlier have a price of €999 and €1,299, respectively and the soon-releasing Xiaomi 13 Ultra is going to be priced higher than the price of the other two smartphones.
