The latter was part of the Vivo’s budget offeringsand the former is no different with some noticeable improvements to the user experience. There is an air of superiority in the T3X’s design which might be a bit reminiscent of several of the past Realme phones. Nonetheless, the T3X is highly promising in terms of its specs on paper and its starting price of Rs 13,499. Smartphone Configuration Price Vivo T3x 4GB + 128GB Rs 13,999 6GB + 128GB Rs 14,999 8GB + 128GB Rs 16,499 Vivo T3X: Key Specs Vivo T3X: Key Specs Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 Processor 6.72-inch 120Hz FHD+ Display 50 MP Main + 2 MP Depth Camera 6000mAh Battery, 44W Fast Charging 4 GB RAM, 128 GB Storage FunTouch OS based on Android 14 Dual Stereo Speakers Vivo T3X: Design and Display Vivo T3X: Design Vivo T3X boasts a design that feels both fresh and familiar. It features an ultra-slim, one-piece flat design that’s exceptionally light in the hand, considering it houses a substantial 6000mAh battery. The “Crimson Bliss” and “Celestial Green” colour options add a touch of elegance, with each variant offering a unique aesthetic that stands out visually. I have the latter of the two and I think it looks just wonderful to hold and feel. However, the device does not stray far from the typical Vivo design language, which might seem a bit repetitive for those familiar with the brand. Vivo T3X: Display The 6.72-inch FHD+ display is impressive, with a high brightness of 1000 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring vivid and fluid visuals. The TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission is a thoughtful addition, enhancing viewing comfort. There are features like an Always-on Display to contend with and the device does have a WideVine L1 certification for HD content. Vivo T3X: Camera Capabilities Vivo T3X: Camera Capabilities The Vivo T3X is equipped with a dual-camera setup, featuring a 50MP main camera and a 2MP depth sensor. In daylight, the main camera captures sharp and detailed images with vibrant colours. However, the absence of an ultra-wide lens limits the versatility of the camera setup, and the 2MP depth camera feels a bit pointless given how good AI-based image separation has truly become. Nighttime photography is enhanced by the Super Night Algorithms, which improve clarity and reduce noise, although the results can sometimes appear over-processed. In general, the images are endearing and are fit to be called an output from a budget offering. Even so, using a flash in many scenarios would actually be more helpful. Finally, you see the front-facing 8MP camera performs adequately for selfies and video calls, bolstered by features like Bokeh Flare Portrait mode, which adds a creative touch to photos. Vivo T3X: Performance and Features Vivo T3X: Performance Under the hood, the Vivo T3X is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, offering reliable performance across most tasks. The chipset is now more popular with sub-Rs 20,000 phones with just recently the Realme P1 Pro also harbouring the same silicone. There’s 8GB RAM to keep you company along with 128GB of internal storage. The device performs as expected on benchmarking platforms and has little trouble with anything graphical-related unless it is something heavy-duty like BGMI. The handset deliver an immersive audio experience with Dual Stereo Speakers enhanced by Audio Boosters, delivering a 300% increase in volume for a richer audio experience, and it’s backed by Hi-Res Audio Wired and Wireless Certification for superior sound quality. Vivo T3X: Features The side-mounted fingerprint sensor provides quick and reliable authentication. Apart from that the device also has no issues with running fast 5G connections. The Vivo T3X operates on Vivo’s FunTouch OS based on Android 14, offering a sleek and user-friendly interface packed with customization options to enhance the user experience. Features like Memory Booster and Interface Preserver contribute to smooth multitasking and efficient app management, allowing quick restoration to previous app states. For multitaskers, the phone supports advanced features like split-screen and mini-window modes, greatly enhancing productivity by allowing users to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without a drop in performance. However, the presence of bloatware remains a downside, cluttering the otherwise streamlined experience with unnecessary apps and intrusive notifications. Finally, the 6000mAh battery with 44W fast charging provides excellent battery life, though it’s worth noting that the charging speed isn’t the fastest in this segment. Vivo T3X - Should you buy the phone ? Vivo T3X - Should you buy the phone ? The Vivo T3X is a solid choice for those looking for a budget-friendly smartphone that doesn’t compromise on performance or features. While it may not offer the best camera versatility or the fastest charging in its class, it excels in display quality, battery life, and overall usability. It’s a commendable addition to Vivo’s lineup, ideal for users seeking a dependable everyday smartphone. 5 Reasons to Buy 5 Reasons to Buy Impressive Display: The 6.72-inch FHD+ display with 120Hz refresh rate offers vivid and fluid visuals.
