After Apple released its earnings report on Thursday, CEO Tim Cook joined a conference call with Wall Street analysts and some media folks. When asked about how many people might upgrade to the iPhone 16 series, Cook kept quiet about the numbers. However, he did mention that Apple’s new AI, called Apple Intelligence, is compelling enough to encourage users of older iPhones to consider upgrading. "I would just say that with Apple Intelligence, we are very excited about the level of value that we’re going to provide to users, and we believe that that presents another reason for a compelling upgrade," said Tim Cook during a post-earnings report call with the media. Some of the more significant and compelling Apple Intelligence features that Apple plans to introduce at a later date include Image Playground, Genmoji, ChatGPT integration with Siri, priority notifications, and several other additions.
