The latest leak comes from tipster Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata), who sheds light on the handset's display, processor, camera, software, and charging speeds. This and the leaked Pixel 7a design renders have left nothing to the imagination. Here is all you need to know about the upcoming smartphone from Google. Pixel 7a is rumoured to be the upcoming midrange offering from Google. The handset is speculated to launch at Google I/O 2023 on May 10th. Ahead of that, tipster Debayan Roy has revealed key specs of Pixel 7a. Per the tipster, the 7a could be the first mid-range smartphone from Google with wireless charging support. The handset is also said to come with the flagship Tensor G2 chipset, 64MP primary camera at the back, 90Hz OLED display, and more. Here's everything we know about Pixel 7a specifications so far: Pixel 7a specifications (leaked) As for the performance, the handset is said to be powered by the Tensor G2 SoC manufactured by Google and Samsung. This is the same processor that also drives the performance of the flagship Pixel 7 series. The performance is further boosted using LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage standards. The upcoming smartphone will feature a dual rear camera setup in the imaging department. The primary sensor will be a 64MP Sony IMX787 unit and a 12MP ultrawide lens. The Sony IMX787 CMOS Exmor RS image sensor is the flagship sensor that can capture brilliant low-light shots with high dynamic range. The front camera is currently unknown, but we can expect it to be the same 10.8MP lens as its more expensive siblings – Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro. The Pixel 7a is said to boot stock Android 13 out of the box. According to the leak, the handset will support 5W wireless charging. As of now, nothing else is known about the upcoming smartphone. The leaked renders have revealed that the Pixel 7a will get incremental design changes. The rear panel house the same horizontal visor-like strip for the dual-camera setup. The Google Pixel 6a features a 6.1-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with support for a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9, HDR support, always-on display with now playing. For protection, the smartphone uses Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Google Pixel 6a draws its power from the in-house Tensor chipset paired with 6GB LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB storage. The smartphone runs Android 12 OS outside of the box but will get an Android 13 update this fall. In terms of cameras, the Pixel 6a features a dual-camera setup on the rear, which includes a 12.2MP primary camera and a 12MP ultra-wide-angle lens.
