A recent 3D render has leaked of a Huawei device that perplexingly resembles the Nova 11 yet hints at being a more advanced model. This device, speculated to be either the Nova 12 Ultra or the P70, is making tech enthusiasts scratch their heads. A Familiar Design with a Twist As mentioned above, the renders depict a phone with a design echoing the Huawei Nova 11. It sports a cylindrical camera module, a familiar sight for Huawei aficionados, yet there's a twist. The alignment and sizing of the cameras diverge from the brand's previous models, suggesting enhancements in Huawei's camera technology. What's equally intriguing is the phone's side profile. It houses a trio of buttons, including a power button accented in red – a minimalistic yet bold design choice. The rounded corners and less pronounced curvature of the sides hint at a user-friendly design, focusing on comfort and ease of use. Leaked 3D Render Reveals Mysterious Huawei Smartphone Apart from that the emergence of an Xmage branding, Huawei’s rumoured new photography system, post their split with Leica, suggests a pivotal moment in the company's journey. Adding to the mystery is the speculation about the device's processor. Rumours hint at the Kirin 9000s, a 7nm processor supporting 5G connectivity. US sanctions on Huawei have made it untenable for the company to keep up with the latest silicone technology, but they are still trying very hard to develop their own SoC. Nova 12 Ultra or P70? The uncertainty about whether this device is the Nova 12 Ultra or P70 reflects the fluid nature of Huawei's product strategy. It also underscores the challenge of distinguishing between different models in a saturated market where differentiation is increasingly difficult. This ambiguity may be a deliberate strategy to generate buzz and speculation, or it could be a reflection of the internal development process within Huawei. FAQs What does the leaked 3D render suggest about the new Huawei device? The 3D render indicates a Huawei smartphone that mirrors the design of the Nova 11, yet it showcases potential advancements. How does the device's design stand out? The side profile of this mysterious Huawei device features a trio of buttons, including a distinctive red-accented power button. This design choice, combined with rounded corners and a less pronounced curvature, suggests a focus on ergonomic and user-friendly design, catering to a seamless user experience. What is Xmage, and how does it relate to this Huawei device? Xmage is reportedly Huawei's new photography system, developed following their separation from Leica. This system signifies Huawei's shift towards in-house imaging technology, potentially offering innovative photographic features and capabilities that could differentiate this device in the competitive smartphone market. Is there clarity on whether this is the Nova 12 Ultra or the P70? The identity of this device, whether the Nova 12 Ultra or the P70, remains uncertain.
