Rumours surrounding the launch of the OnePlus Buds 2 TWS have been floating around for quite some time now. The OnePlus Nord Buds 2 were recently spotted on the FCC certification website, which revealed some key specifications of the TWS. The buds have today been spotted on the company’s official website (spare part section) in India, which suggests an imminent launch in the country. After debuting the OnePlus Buds Pro 2 in the global market, OnePlus is also expected to launch a new affordable pair of TWS earbuds in the market called the Nord Buds 2. The earbuds have already made appearances on FCC, Bluetooth SIG, BIS, and other certification websites. Now, these earbuds have also appeared on the company's website. The listing was spotted by known tipster Mukul Sharma who has claimed that the OnePlus Nord Buds 2 will be launching in India by the next month, i.e. March 2023. The recent FCC listing revealed some of the specifications of the Nord Buds 2. According to the listing, the earbuds will feature up to 4.5W charging. There will be a 41mAh battery in each earbud, while the case features a 480mAh battery. The dimensions of the case will be 22.27 x 9.29 x 0.11 mm and the TWS will provide Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Although we don’t know about other specifications, the inclusion of Bluetooth 5.3 is obviously an upgrade over the Nord Buds. This will help the device be more energy efficient, in turn extending the battery life. Taking a look at the specs of the Nord Buds, the gadget comes with a 12.4mm titanium dynamic driver, Bluetooth 5,2, and an IP55 water and dust resistance rating. There is a 41mAh battery in each earbud that provides up to 7 hours of battery backup. The case adds 23 hours to the playback time. The buds were also recently seen on the FCC India certification website which reveals the buds have up to 4.5W charging. The buds will have a 41mAh battery while the case will have a 480mAh battery. OnePlus Nord Buds 2 Design Coming to the design,the Nord Buds 2 have an in-ear design and a USB Type-C charging port with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. The case will measure 22.27×9.29×0.11mm. These buds might be a rebranded version of the OnePlus Buds Ace that came to China a little while ago. If this happens, the buds will come in black and white colorways. OnePlus Buds Ace: China Model Specs OnePlus Buds Ace launched in China this month. It has a 12.4mm dynamic driver BassWave Dynamic Bass with ANC, Dual microphones, and AI calls for noise reduction. The buds have AAC codec and Dolby Atmos support with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity. Each bud weighs 4.7 grams whereas the weight of the case is 37.5 grams. The Buds are IP55 rated for sweat and water resistance and have a 41mAh battery each. 10 minutes of fast charging gives 5 hours of playback without ANC being switched on. The case has a 480mAh battery and with the case, the buds have a battery life of up to 36 hours. OnePlus Buds Ace is priced at Rs. 3030 approximately.
