On the front, the device is said to feature a flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate. These display specs suggest that OnePlus could be aiming to market the 15R as a gaming-focused smartphone. Backing that up is the rumoured inclusion of Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. It is the same flagship processor powering top-tier Android phones like the OnePlus 13. If true, this would represent a major performance boost over the previous model. Battery life is another area where the 15R may see an upgrade.
