Highlights Triple-camera setup with each lens boasting 50MP resolution. Upgraded telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Increased battery capacity of 6000mAh. Powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor. The upcoming OnePlus 13 flagship phone continues to be leaked in various regards and the newest information concentrates on the camera setup and battery size of this device. A reliable tipster, DigitalChatStation, has leaked that the OnePlus 13 will sport a triple-camera system, with every lens boasting a 50MP resolution. That seems like a big upgrade from where Newly Designed Camera Layout OnePlus 13 Camera and Battery Details Leaked It will have one primary sensor, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens. This is different from what OnePlus 12 had, which included a 50MP primary lens, a 48MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto lens. The informant shares that the telephoto lens on the OnePlus 13 will bring 3x optical zoom, the same as that on the OnePlus 12. According to tipster on Weibo called Digital Chat Station: OnePlus 13 will have three 50 MP sensors However, the source revealed this to be an "upgraded" feature, which presumably means that there could be a bump for the camera tech or sensor size. Hasselblad, the famous camera manufacturer, will be improving the phone's camera system. The OnePlus 13 will support Hasselblad Master Tones,it is a feature that allows for improved colour accuracy and a more natural colour palette. This feature was first introduced in the OnePlus 12 and is expected to continue in the OnePlus 13. Higher battery capacity Its powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor The device's battery capacity is also rumoured to receive a huge bump, with rumours pegging at 6000mAh from the 5400mAh in the OnePlus 12. This increased battery should translate to longer uptimes. However, while the OnePlus 13 is rumoured to pack 100W wired charging, it may not feature wireless charging. This would be a departure from the OnePlus 12, which brought back wireless charging after missing from the OnePlus 11. The OnePlus 13 will most probably be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, expected to come in October. Although the Xiaomi 15 and 15 Pro are probably the first phones to launch with the new chip, the OnePlus 13 is expected to follow soon after as one of the first devices to come with this new chip. OnePlus 13 is expected to feature a modified lens design, a large-capacity silicon negative electrode battery, and a 2K LTPO iso-depth micro-curved screen. The phone will have a regular large size, making it easy to handle and use. Camera Comparison: OnePlus 13 vs OnePlus 12 OnePlus 13 will sport a triple-camera system So we have mentioned that the OnePlus 13 is expected to feature a powerful triple camera system with uniform 50MP sensors across all lenses. In contrast, the OnePlus 12 also boasts an impressive triple camera setup, but with different specifications. It includes a 64MP OmniVision OV64B periscope telephoto lens, a 48MP Sony IMX581 ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 32MP IMX615 front camera. Supporting Hasselblad imaging, this configuration provides strong overall performance, with the telephoto lens offering practical zoom capabilities. While both models have robust camera systems, the OnePlus 13's expected configuration is likely to stand out for its uniform 50MP sensors, promising a more balanced photographic experience. We’ll obviously get more insights once the device is officially launched.
