Highlights Apple Intelligence on the M2 iPad Pro handles nearly 15000 characters for proofreading and rewriting. Tool processes over 2,000 words efficiently. Apple Intelligence surpasses Galaxy AI’s 500-character limit. Apple Intelligence is set to launch with iOS 18.1 later this year. Apple Inc. often enters tech trends later than every other major player but is also typically known for delivering a more refined and advanced version. The waves Apple Intelligence is making in the generative AI scene also tell a similar story. Apple Intelligence is already showing impressive abilities on the older M2 iPad Pro. A recent video posted on X (previously known as Twitter) by user @LeakerApple demonstrates how well it handles proofreading and rewriting. The video shows how the AI handles up to 14,760 characters—all without needing cloud access. This suggests that while Apple might be behind its competitors in terms of launch timing, it aims to make Apple Intelligence a top-notch solution. This model can handle over 2,000 words seamlessly, whereas Galaxy AI is limited to just 500 characters. Currently, Apple Intelligence isn’t available to most users but is expected to launch with iOS 18.1 later this year. For those with earlier versions like iOS 18.1, iPadOS 18.1, and macOS Sequoia Beta updates, the tool's performance is already notable. It can process about 2,203 words, offering options to rewrite text in different tones via a dropdown menu. It quickly revises and proofreads large amounts of text, making it far more capable than Galaxy AI’s 500-character limit. However, Apple Intelligence isn’t without flaws. There have been some issues, like missing source numbers in the video, and the quality of text rewriting and proofreading is still evolving. As Apple gathers more feedback and data, we can expect these features to improve and refine before the global release.
