This substantial battery size positions the OnePlus 12R as an ideal device for extended gaming sessions and prolonged usage. Additionally, the battery benefits from OnePlus's SUPERVOOC fast charging and Battery Health Engine technology. These innovations ensure not only quick charging but also prolonged battery health, outperforming other smartphones in longevity. OnePlus 12R: Other Expected Features OnePlus 12R: Other Expected Features Rumours suggest that the OnePlus 12R will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. It's expected to offer up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.0 storage, indicating that the device is targeting the budget gaming market, much like its predecessor, the OnePlus 11R. The display of the OnePlus 12R is anticipated to reach a peak brightness of 4500 nits and support 2160Hz PVM dimming, ensuring a vivid and eye-friendly viewing experience. BOE, a supplier that has provided displays for other notable devices like the OnePlus 12 and Realme GT 5 Pro, will manufacture the panel. As for the camera, the OnePlus 12R is likely to feature a triple-camera setup, including a 50MP primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP macro shooter, catering to a wide range of photography needs. The OnePlus 12R is expected to be available in two colour options: Iron Gray and Cool Blue, with renders already shared in the leaks. This launch could significantly impact the North American mid-range smartphone market, providing a competitive option around the $500 price range.
