WhatsApp iOS Update - Design Changes and Enhancements The update introduces several visual refinements inspired by Apple’s iOS 26 Liquid Glass interface. The most noticeable update is the redesigned tab bar at the bottom of the screen. It now features a semi-translucent, floating appearance, giving it a layered, glass-like effect. The icons in the tab bar have smooth animations and the design adapts seamlessly to both light and dark themes, as well as to different screen sizes and orientations.
