The brand launched the vanilla iQ0O Z7 5G, iQOO Z7i 5G, and iQ00 Z7x 5G smartphones in the country. As for India, only the iQOO Z7 5G has launched so far. The iQ00 Z7x 5G, however, is tipped to launch in India in April 2023. The global/Indian variant of the device has today been spotted on the Thai NBTC certification website and the Bluetooth SIG certification website, which further suggest that the launch of the device is imminent. iQ0O, earlier this month, launched the iQ00 Z7i, iQOO Z7x 5G, and iQOO Z7 5G smartphones in the Chinese market. The company also launched the iQOO Z7 5G in the Indian market but it was completely a different product compared to the iQ00 Z7 Chinese variant. The company is prepping to launch the iQ00 Z7x in India/global markets as the iQOO Z7× 5G global/India variant with the model number 2216 was earlier spotted on the SIRIM certification website. In the latest development, Folks at Pricebaba have spotted the upcoming iQOO Z7x on the Bluetooth Special Interest Group database. iQOO Z7x 5G made an appearance on the Bluetooth SIG database with the model number I2216. The listing reveals that the iQOO Z7x will feature support for Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity. The listing also reveals the software version of the upcoming Z7 series device, which is PD2272F_EX_A_13.0.5.0.W20. The software version of the upcoming iQOO Z7x global variant contains the string 2272 which also appears in the model number of the iQOO Z7x Chinese variant. To those unaware, the model number of the iQOO Z7x Chinese variant is V2272A. Based on the software version it appears that the iQOO Z7x global variant will be the same as its Chinese counterpart. The model number confirms that this is indeed the Indian variant of the device, which might also launch in other regions outside of China. The NBTC listing confirms the moniker of the device and also confirms that it will be a 5G handset. Furthermore, the device has also been spotted on the Bluetooth SIG certification website, which also strengthens the speculation that the launch of the device is imminent. As far as the processor is concerned, the device is tipped to come equipped with a Snapdragon 695 processor, which could be paired with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB storage.
