According to the well-known Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 12 standard version will come equipped with the following specifications. iQOO recently launched the 11S as its new premium smartphone in China. The new iQOO 11S features a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a 144Hz AMOLED display and 200W fast charging support. The device might launch soon in various markets outside China. iQOO has not confirmed any details about the same at the time of writing this. Meanwhile, details about the iQOO 12, the company’s next flagship phone, have started to surface online. iQOO 12 The iQOO 12 is likely to launch in China and possibly other markets in the last quarter of 2023. The company is expected to introduce many upgrades in its upcoming Android flagship smartphone. According to tipster Digital Chat Station, the iQOO 12 will launch with up to 1TB of storage and 16GB of RAM. The tipster also listed some other specifications of the iQOO 12 5G. iQoo 12 5G may soon be introduced with support for 200W fast charging technology. In the ever-competitive business of launching innovative capabilities for smartphones, companies have been trying to vie for customers' attention with newer technologies. One of the most popular additions is support for faster charging. Redmi, Realme, Infinix, and Oppo have all joined the race and now seemingly iQoo has also thrown its hat into the ring. A tipster has now claimed that iQoo could soon offer support for one of the fastest charging solutions currently available on smartphones. According to a Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station, iQoo is working on a 200W wired fast charging solution which will most likely be paired with a 5,000mAh battery. The company is yet to confirm any details about the handset, but following the launch of the iQoo 11 series of smartphones, they are expected to be succeeded by the iQoo 12 series which may debut later this year. Meanwhile, the rumoured iQoo 12 Pro handset is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's yet-to-be-announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. iQOO 12 5G Might Get Faster Charging Support The iQOO 12 5G is expected to launch later this year. The company is yet to confirm any details about the launch. Meanwhile, a new leak has revealed the battery and charging details of the phone. The 12 5G will feature a 5000mAh battery under the hood. The battery capacity is the same as the iQOO 11 series. However, the charging speed will get upgraded to 200W, according to Digital Chat Station (DCS). iQOO has reserved its highest fast-charging tech for the Pro models over the past couple of generations. However, it looks like the company’s 200W fast-charging tech will trickle down to the vanilla flagship models going forward. It would be interesting to see if the upcoming iQOO smartphones with 200W fast charging debut outside China. The company has been keeping its Pro models exclusive to China, whereas the vanilla models have made it to India and some other markets. The iQOO 12 Pro is likely to get the same fast charging tech. It is likely to pack a 5000mAh battery under the hood. The Pro model is expected to feature the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC as well. iQOO 12 Specifications (Rumoured) iQOO 12 Specifications (Rumoured) The tipster revealed that the iQOO 12 standard version will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, which is expected to debut in October of this year. Months before the launch, tipster Digital Chat Station (via) claims that the upcoming Android flagship smartphone will feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC under the hood. Qualcomm will unveil the next mobile flagship SoC in October at its Snapdragon Summit. It is possible that iQOO will confirm the use of Qualcomm’s latest top-end SoC in its flagship phone soon after the Snapdragon Summit. There will be a 50MP primary camera sensor. Details about the other sensors are not known at the moment. iQOO is said to be testing multiple camera layout designs at the moment, including one where the module is placed at the top left corner. It is also expected to offer a 144Hz refresh rate support. 2) iQOO 12 battery, charging capabilities seemingly revealed.Details?
