If these reports are true, this will make both iPhone 16 models have the thinnest bezel ever on an iPhone. This design enhancement is made possible by advanced screen technology from Samsung, which has been tasked with developing a nearly bezel-less OLED display. The managing director of Samsung Display previously was quoted almost confirming this by saying, "Samsung Display is preparing an under-panel camera (UPC) and a zero-bezel concept product that completely removes the border itself." The result will be a lot more elegant and visually appealing device that maximizes screen real estate without increasing the phone's footprint.
