HIGHLIGHTS * Apple is known to introduce new colour options with the iPhone series every year. * The iPhone 15 is reported to arrive in a total of six colours. * The iPhone 15 Pro is expected to come in a dark blue shade with a grey tone. The iPhone 15 could be offered in more new colors than previously thought, with a leak claiming the lineup could include a pink option for 2023. Apple’s biggest iPhone 15 design changes have already leaked, but the company still had one surprise up its sleeve. Until now... When we talk about new iPhone models, features and specifications are not the only thing Apple fans are excited about. They are also eager to find out what new iPhone colours will be available for purchase. Apple is rumoured to introduce three new colour options for the upcoming iPhone 15. These will be in addition to the three colours we get with the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus. Reliable Apple insider ShrimpApplePro has endorsed a leak from Chinese social media site Weibo (a frequent source of Apple information), revealing that the iPhone 15 will come in three new colors: green, light yellow and pink. The full range of colors is as follows: iPhone 15 * Midnight * Starlight * Green * Light Yellow * Pink * Product (RED) The new colors are italicized, and it is worth noting that light yellow is distinct from the existing strong yellow finish on the iPhone 14 lineup. If correct, the leak would mean that Apple is dropping blue, purple, and the deeper yellow finishes this year. While opinions about Apple’s choice of colors will be subjective, the real surprise here is the extent of the changes. Apple tends to change one or two colors each year, but not three. Moreover, the decisions here are eye-opening because a market report in March claimed that blue and purple were the most popular color choices for iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus buyers. On the flip side, pink has been the most requested iPhone color for years, and rumors of a bubblegum pink finish first leaked in March though that report also claimed a new brighter blue color would be introduced. Apple has also shown its willingness to bend to customer demand this year by releasing a 15-inch MacBook Air. The finishes of iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models have been subject to similar speculation, with conflicting reports that Apple will release a new hero color in dark red or deep blue. iPhone 15 Pro Uncertainty also surrounds the price of the new iPhone 15 range, with leaks claiming prices for Pro models may increase by as much as $200. A new titanium chassis may be a factor in that. More certain are the core upgrades for both models, with iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models getting a next-gen 3nm A17 chipset, super thin bezels, upgraded UWB and a solid-state Action button that replaces the mute switch. iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus models are expected to copy the iPhone 14 Pro design and use their A16 chip, while every iPhone 15 model will transition from Lightning to USB-C. As the September launch of the iPhone 15 gets closer, rumors about the color choices of Apple are becoming more frequent. In the latest leak, it is proposed that there could be a bunch of colors available for the non-Pro models. non-Pro models. In a Saturday tweet by prolific leaker @VnchocoTaco, also known as "ShrimpApplePro," an image of what appears to be a Weibo post is shared. The post, translated from Chinese, mentions that there is to be the use of "green, light yellow, and pink" models. If true, the range of color options for the iPhone 15 could be, according to Shrimp: * Midnight * Starlight * Green * Yellow * Pink * Product (RED) While Shrimp does have a history of providing Apple-related leaks, the Weibo-based screenshot offers a relatively small amount of proof. An image is included in the post depicting a Foxconn security badge, with the photo covered by a thumb, as if to prove the source works for Apple's assembly partner. iPhone lineup In previous leaks, another Weibo leaker offered in July that the iPhone 15 would use a green color, at the same time as reporting on a crimson iPhone 15 Pro shade. In February, leaks put forward a pink and blue iPhone 15 and a dark red iPhone 15 Pro. There's no guarantee at all that the leaks about colors are completely accurate, especially for launch. Apple does habitually update the iPhone lineup with a mid-year color addition, so it is plausible one color may not arrive until spring 2024. These are said to be Green, Pink, and Yellow (a lighter shade) alongside the existing colours Midnight, Starlight, and Product (RED). This way, the total number of colour options will remain to be six. If the leak is correct, Apple is ready to bid farewell to the Blue, Purple, and darker Yellow options we currently get. The iPhone 15 was previously reported to arrive in a Light Blue colour option, too, but it seems like Apple has changed plans now. It should be noted that there is no surety if Apple will launch all six colours on the same day as the iPhone 15 launch. The Cupertino-based tech giant is known for saving one iPhone colour option for Spring refresh. We saw it released Green as the new colour for iPhone 11 and repeated it with the iPhone 13. The iPhone 12 and iPhone 14 received a Purple and Yellow paint refresh, respectively. As for iPhone 15 Pro models, Apple is expected to debut these with a new dark Blue colour with a grey shade. It is said to have a brushed finish due to titanium material which will be different from what we get with stainless steel. This new colour is expected to arrive alongside Space Gray/Space Black, Silver, and Titanium Gray shades. Some reports speculate there may also be a Crimson Red colour option. Overall, we suggest you take these iPhone 15 colour leaks with a pinch of salt. In other related rumours, the iPhone 15 Pro Max is tipped to become the most expensive iPhone in history. This is largely because of a number of exclusive features that Apple will offer. It is expected to come with a titanium frame that will replace the stainless steel frame we currently get. There will be improvements in the camera department, and it will have a bigger camera bump. We are finally expected to get a USB Type-C port with the iPhone 15 series. Battery capacity is another department where Apple is expected to offer improvements. 2) iPhone 15 launch update: Apple may introduce two new colours.Details? Ans) Apple's upcoming iPhone 15 series will reportedly come with stronger titanium construction and new colour options. The company is expected to introduce two new colour options for the iPhone 15 lineup -- a dark red colour for the iPhone 15 Pro and a green colour for the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, reports Gizmochina. The new red colour for the iPhone 15 Pro is named "crimson" and will likely be slightly lighter than the iPhone 14 Pro's deep purple colour. However, the green colour for the iPhone 15 and 15 Plus is expected to be similar to the green of the iPhone 12 and iPhone 11. The iPhone 15's standard colour options, which are rumoured to include silver, space grey and gold, would be expanded by these new colours. The company has not yet officially announced the release date of the iPhone 15 series, but it is expected to launch in September this year, the report said. Earlier, it was rumoured that the company would integrate the Proximity Sensor inside the "Dynamic Island" area (the pill and hole cutouts at the top of the display) in the iPhone 15 series. The proximity sensor detects when the user holds the phone up to their ear and shuts off the screen.
