The Nova lineup includes three models, the Nova 14, Nova 14 Pro and Nova 14 Ultra. While sales in China are expected to begin on May 23 with no word on global availability as of now, here’s everything we know about all three devices. It offers a sleek design, upgraded AI tools, satellite messaging and a powerful camera setup. The phone features a 6.81-inch OLED display with curved edges, a resolution of 2860×1272 and LTPO technology that enables a smooth 1–120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It also includes 2160Hz PWM dimming to reduce eye strain and reaches up to 5,500 nits of brightness for better visibility outdoors. Although Huawei hasn't confirmed the processor, early reports suggest it’s powered by a Kirin-series chip. Thanks to HarmonyOS-level optimisations, the phone handles multitasking, AI photography, and real-time tasks efficiently, with better thermal and memory management. The upgraded Celia assistant now supports natural voice commands, gesture control, and smarter call handling. Photo editing tools like Magic Eraser and AI Magic Cutout are also built into the OS. Both front and rear cameras support 4K video recording and offer various modes like HDR Vivid, night mode, macro video and AI-assisted portrait enhancements. The phone supports Wi-Fi 6E, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 5.2 with LDAC and L2HC codecs for high-quality wireless audio. It also features NFC and dual-mode satellite messaging via BeiDou and TianTong, allowing for both text and image-based location sharing. The phone comes in four colours, Floating Gold, Floating White, Flowing Purple and Obsidian Black. The standard Nova 14 starts at 2,699 yuan (approx. $373) for the 256GB version.
