PC release is likely delayed to 2027 or later, following Rockstar’s history of optimising its games for PC. Caption - A still of GTA 6. (Image credit - Rockstar Games) Rockstar Games has dropped the second trailer for GTA 6, and fans are buzzing. After nearly two years of silence, the trailer arrived just as Rockstar confirmed the game will launch on May 26, 2026. Yes, that’s a delay but the trailer more than made up for it with some seriously next-level visuals and details. At almost three minutes long, the trailer is filled with blink-and-you-will-miss-it moments. Here are some standout details you might have missed - The trailer opens with Jason saying, "Oh, just fixing some leaks." It’s a clever Easter egg from Rockstar, poking fun at the real-life leaks that happened before the game was even announced. Jason’s shirtless scenes reveal something new for GTA, realistic muscle movement. You can actually see muscles like his lats and pecs flex as he climbs a ladder or lifts weights at the beach. It’s a small touch, but it makes the characters feel more alive. In one scene, Jason carries a crate of beer, and you can see the liquid inside the bottles sloshing around. In another, a still bottle shows tiny carbonation bubbles rising inside. It’s small stuff, but super detailed. The trailer teases some massive heists. One standout moment shows a large safe hanging from a moving vehicle, which feels like a shoutout to Fast & Furious 5. It’s a big hint that GTA 6 might go all-in on cinematic action sequences. Lucia is seen casually relaxing, and when she rests her knee on a couch, the cushion visibly sinks under her weight. This kind of interaction suggests that interiors in the game may be more dynamic and immersive than ever. Eagle-eyed viewers noticed a truck with a Liberty City license plate during a chase scene. The cityscape in the background looks a lot like NYC too. Add to that the fact that Lucia’s backstory ties to Liberty City, and it could mean we’ll get to visit the iconic location again, even if just briefly. In one scene, Jason and Lucia are seen near a glass case with a snake inside. It could just be a mission cutscene, but it’s got fans wondering if pets are finally coming to GTA, and not just dogs but snakes too. It’d be a first for the franchise. It seems there are many sports minigames available across Vice City. The new selection of screenshots reveals Mini Golf, Pool, Fishing, Basket Ball, Kayaking, Dirt Bike Racing and Scuba Diving. Speculations About the PC Release While trailer 2 answered a lot of questions, one big one question still remains. When will GTA 6 release on PC? When the first trailer dropped in December 2023, many assumed the PC version would come out about a year after the console release. But now that the console launch is confirmed for 2026, the PC version is definitely pushed back, likely into 2027 or later. To get a rough idea, let’s look at Rockstar’s history - GTA 4 launched on PS3/Xbox 360 in April 2008 and hit PC just 8 months later. GTA 5, however, came to PC almost two years after its 2013 console debut. The reason is mostly optimisation. Unlike consoles, which have fixed hardware, PCs come in all shapes and specs. That makes development more complex and time-consuming. Rockstar learned this the hard way with GTA 4, where the PC port was a technical mess, plagued by bugs and poor performance. They didn’t repeat that mistake with GTA 5, which is still considered one of the most optimised PC games ever thanks in part to that long delay. So, what does this mean for GTA 6 on PC? Realistically, don’t expect it before 2027. It could even be 2028, depending on how long Rockstar takes to polish it. FAQS Q1. What hidden details are in GTA 6 Trailer 2? Answer.
