Highlights iPhone 15 Pro series to transition to titanium, replacing stainless steel for lighter devices. Introduction of "Titan Gray" alongside a new dark blue colour in the iPhone 15 Pro series. Non-Pro Line to offer five vibrant colour options: black, green, blue, yellow, and pink. iPhone 15 series unveiling expected on September 12, with significant design evolution. Apple is set to reveal the iPhone 15 Pro series in September, bringing significant changes to its premium smartphone range. With the news coming from reliable sources at 9to5Mac, anticipation builds around the shift from stainless steel to titanium and changes in the colour palette, including the discontinuation of the classic gold finish. Transition to Titanium Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Series: Titan Gray The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max models will be pioneering the use of titanium, replacing stainless steel. This material transition is expected to reduce the weight of the devices, possibly enhancing their durability and feel. The change marks the end of an era for stainless steel in Apple's Pro line, which had been a standard feature since the iPhone XS in 2018. Titanium Finish Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Series: New Gray Option Apple's move to titanium will be accentuated by a range of finishes. A new grey option, aptly named "Titan Gray," will be added to the roster. This colour appears to bridge the gap between space black and silver, offering a distinctive shade that capitalises on the natural colour of titanium. The introduction of this colour may signify Apple's intention to celebrate the material change. Changes in Colour Options Apple's iPhone 15 Pro Series: Changes in Colour Options Alongside the shift to titanium, Apple is reshaping the colour options for its upcoming iPhones. Introduction of Dark Blue Introduction of Dark Blue Apart from the Titan Gray variant, Apple may also introduce a dark blue colour for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. This fresh hue is set to replace the deep purple colour, marking it as the special edition colour of the year. From the leaked renders, the shade does resemble a lot like the iPhone 12 Pro’s Pacific Blue colour. It is an evident departure from previously rumoured shades, and its inclusion could provide a new aesthetic appeal for consumers. Non-Pro Line Colours Non-Pro Line Colours For the non-pro iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus, Apple is expected to continue its colourful tradition with five options: black, green, blue, yellow, and pink. Apple's practice of adding an additional colour in the spring could also provide more variety for buyers at a later date. iPhone 15 Series: Release Date iPhone 15 Series The anticipation for the iPhone 15 family continues to build as the expected unveiling date nears. Scheduled for September 12, the official launch invite is predicted to be released between August 29 and September 5. This timeline aligns with Apple's usual launch windows for its flagship products. The upcoming iPhone 15 release represents a significant step in Apple's design evolution, with substantial changes in both materials and colours. Titanium's introduction, the new "Titan Gray" shade, and the bold dark blue option point to Apple's continual strive for innovation and distinction in the premium smartphone market.
