One of the most advanced language models currently available is ChatGPT, which was developed by OpenAI and released in 2020. After the success of its popular AI tool ChatGPT, OpenAI has launched a premium subscription service called ChatGPT Plus in India. The company has confirmed that the subscription will include the latest version of the AI model, GPT-4. ChatGPT Plus was initially introduced in the US in February and has now made its way to India, where the company aims to monetize the viral AI tool. While the service will remain free for users, the premium subscription offers several benefits, including priority access and early access to new features. In this blog, we are taking a closer look at ChatGPT Plus, its subscription benefits, its launch in India, subscription price and more. By the end of this blog, you will have a complete understanding of ChatGPT Plus including how to subscribe to ChatGPT Plus. What is ChatGPT Plus? With its worldwide release last year, ChatGPT broke the internet in its literal sense. This free OpenAI tool that gives anybody access to Artificial Intelligence in the form of a chatbot came out as a revolutionary innovation. The ability to ask ChatGPT all types of questions and have human-like two-way communication really seemed like a quantum leap in human development. And after it's really been catching on eventually you might have noticed that when you try to log on and use it you're faced with an error. Sometimes ChatGPT says they are out of capacity and the only way for you to use it is if you sign up for a waitlist and then upgrade to ChatGPT Plus. As more and more people start using ChatGPT, it's only inevitable that it's going to be harder to access it during peak hours. Now, this is where ChatGPT Plus comes in. ChatGPT's paid subscription plan is called ChatGPT Plus. The paid subscription model guarantees users general access even during peak times when the free version is at capacity and faster response times. OpenAI's text-generating AI membership service has been made accessible in India recently. GPT-4, the streamlined AI model released by OpenAI earlier this week, is included in ChatGPT Plus. Initially, the company started a gradual rollout of the paid subscription to users already who sign up on the waitlist. It is available to all users, and subscribers can also cancel at any time, according to the several media reports about the rollout. Why Subscribe to ChatGPT Plus? ChatGPT Plus subscription comes with many benefits and would be particularly beneficial for people who plan on using ChatGPT for work or other commitments on a regular basis. Some of the main features of ChatGPT Plus include the following - Access Even in Peak Hours One of the biggest benefits of the ChatGPT Plus subscription is that ChatGPT subscribers will receive access to ChatGPT even at peak times. So, there will no longer be any waiting around even at the time ChatGPT is at full capacity. While under the free plan, users get access only when demand is slow. Oftentimes, users are asked to either wait or try later when the demand is at its peak. With the AI tool going viral, more and more people now access the chatbot all around the day and it is often unavailable to free users. Faster Response Speed The ChatGPT Plus subscription also allows users to switch to a speed-optimized language model called Turbo, which offers faster responses. Paid users can switch between the regular mode and turbo mode. Higher Usage Limits Another extremely useful benefit that comes with a ChatGPT subscription is the higher usage limits. Users who subscribe to ChatGPT Plus are offered higher usage limits. This simply means there is no limit on how much you want to use the chatbot. Currently for the free users, if you often turn to ChatGPT while working, you may face an error due to “too many requests.” With the paid subscription, however, you do not have to worry about usage limits. Priority Access to the Latest Features The ChatGPT Plus subscribers will also get early access to all the latest ChatGPT features. This will allow users to test the latest features before others can access them. Access to GPT-4 The ChatGPT Plus subscription also offers access to GPT-4, the latest language model from OpenAI. It is currently available only to ChatGPT Plus subscribers. According to OpenAI GPT-4 is a large multimodal model (accepting image and text inputs, emitting text outputs) that, while less capable than humans in many real-world scenarios, exhibits human-level performance on various professional and academic benchmarks. For example, it passes a simulated bar exam with a score around the top 10% of test takers; in contrast, GPT-3.5’s score was around the bottom 10%. ChatGPT Plus Subscription Price in India The new subscription plan, ChatGPT Plus, will be available for $20 per month, which is approximately ₹1,650 per month in Indian currency. With this, subscribers will receive a number of benefits that include - Faster response times Usual access to ChatGPT services, even during peak times Priority access to new features and improvements ChatGPT Plus is available to customers in the United States and around the world. While making the announcement and revealing the subscription price, OpenAI confirmed the usual service will still remain free for users and users will continue to get free access to ChatGPT. The subscription plan is only a was to be able to support the free access available to as many people as possible. How To Subscribe to ChatGPT Plus?
