Adam Badowski, the company's newly appointed joint CEO, has announced the imminent commencement of the production phase for the latest game in the celebrated “Witcher” series, as per a statement given to Reuters. A notable shift in development approach is the adoption of Epic Games’ Unreal Engine for the upcoming Witcher game, moving away from CD Projekt Red’s in-house REDengine, which was instrumental in creating past Witcher titles and Cyberpunk 2077.
