Highlights According to leaks, the iPhone 18 Pro will have a 25% smaller Dynamic Island. The device is likely to feature a new A20 Pro chip and C2 modem. Apple might use a variable aperture camera and Camera Control 2.0 to enhance the photography experience. Recent leaks about the iPhone 18 Pro suggest the device might feature a smaller Dynamic Island and thinner bezels. This could make the display feel more immersive than before. Earlier reports also mentioned a smaller Dynamic Island, showing that Apple has been working to improve its flagship design. These new prototype images and reports back up earlier rumours and give a better idea of what Apple’s next top smartphone might offer. Smaller Dynamic Island and Thinner Bezels A standout change in the iPhone 18 Pro is the redesigned Dynamic Island, which may be about 25% smaller. This is probably thanks to smaller Face ID sensors and new under-display tech. With much thinner bezels, the phone could offer a display that almost reaches the edges, making it look and feel more modern. The updated front design shows Apple’s move toward a cleaner, more futuristic style. Next-Level Performance with A20 Pro Chip According to the reports, the iPhone 18 Pro is likely to use the new A20 Pro chip. This chip is built with advanced technology and could boost performance, efficiency, and AI features. This will also enable smoother multitasking, better gaming, and improved cooling. iphone 18 pro pic.twitter.com/3KCfyzCBeG — Majin (@MajinBuofficia) May 2, 2026 Variable Aperture Camera Apple is also planning to enhance its camera technology and might add a variable aperture camera to the iPhone 18 Pro. This will let users adjust the aperture, giving them more control over depth of field and low-light shots. With the variable aperture, mobile photography could become more flexible, just like a DSLR. iPhone 18 Pro might add variable aperture camera for more control over depth of field and low-light shots (Pic Credit: @ShalomInfosoftz on X) Camera Control 2.0 Enhancements Apart from this, the iPhone 18 Pro is expected to come with Camera Control 2.0. This will bring new camera features and controls. It could improve computational photography, enhance zoom, and enable smarter scene detection. With all these features, Apple is looking forward to keeping its camera technology ahead of the competition. Improved Battery Life and C2 Modem The iPhone 18 Pro should also have better battery life. Thanks to the efficient A20 Pro chip and possible battery upgrades, users may get more time between charges. The new C2 modem, made by Apple, is also expected to deliver faster speeds, better connectivity, and improved power efficiency compared to older models.
