Highlights The iQOO 16 is rumored to have a 165Hz 2K display for extra-smooth performance. It might include a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chip and a large battery. The phone may feature either a 200MP or 50MP main camera setup. The iQOO 16 series is set to be one of the most powerful smartphone lineups of 2026. Recent leaks show big upgrades aimed at gamers and performance fans. In addition to the standard iQOO 16, the company is expected to launch the iQOO 16 Ultra, which may offer even more gaming features, such as a built-in cooling fan and special accessories. Specifications: Next-Gen Performance The iQOO 16 will likely use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, which should bring much better performance and efficiency. It may come with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, making multitasking and gaming smooth and fast. Battery life is expected to be a major feature, with leaks suggesting a huge 9000mAh battery and fast charging support. This could make the phone one of the longest-lasting flagship models on the market. Display and Features: Made for Gamers One standout feature of the iQOO 16 is its 6.85-inch 2K flat display with a 165Hz refresh rate, which should provide very smooth visuals. This high refresh rate and advanced display tech are expected to improve gaming, streaming, and daily use. A key difference for this series is its focus on keeping the phone cool. Reports say the iQOO 16 may have an advanced cooling system, and the iQOO 16 Ultra could even include a built-in cooling fan, which is rare in regular smartphones. This should help the phone keep running at its best during long gaming sessions. The Ultra model is also expected to work with extra gaming accessories, making it even more attractive to esports and competitive gamers. Camera: 200MP or 50MP? The iQOO 16’s camera is still being developed. The company is said to be testing two options: a 200MP main sensor or a larger 50MP sensor for better image quality. This indicates the company is choosing between very high resolution and better low-light performance. The phone is also expected to have a periscope telephoto lens for better zoom, making it a strong flagship not just for gaming. Price & Launch Timeline The iQOO 16 is expected to launch in China later this year, with a global release following. The price will likely be around CNY 5,000 (about Rs. 60,000 – Rs. 70,000), putting it in the premium range. The Ultra model may cost even more due to its additional gaming features. What iQOO 16 Series Offers Users The iQOO 16 series is designed for users who want top performance, long battery life, and great gaming experiences.
