Realme announces first 64MP smartphone, realme XT, starting at Rs 15,999

Realme has launched India’s first 64MP quad camera smartphone called the realme XT starting at Rs 15,999 for the 4GB/64GB variant. The first sale will start on September 16 on Flipkart and realme.com.

The realme XT will be available in two colours, Pearl White and Pearl Blue and will two other variants, 6+64GB priced at Rs 16999 and 8+128GB priced at Rs 18999.

The brand also expanded its accessory portfolio with realme Buds Wireless earphones and realme Power Bank.

Realme XT features 10nm octa-core Snapdragon 712 AIE processor with 2.3 GHz CPU and Qualcomm Adreno 616 GPU.

The realme XT features a 3D glass hyperbola curve back design developed using Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It sports a Super AMOLED Dewdrop Full Screen high quality display, having 92.1% screen-to-body ratio. The realme XT boasts of latest in-display fingerprint technology.

Realme XT will run on Android 9.0 ColorOS 6.0 operating system, a 4000mAh battery that supports 20W VOOC 3.0 Flash Charge.

Realme also announced its new range of mobile accessories with the launch of an all new realme Buds Wireless earphones at a desirable price of Rs 1,799, available in three colours – Black, Green and Orange. It has IPX 4 rating.

Realme also introduced its range of 10,000mAh power banks which will be available in grey, red and yellow design. It supports bi-directional 18W fast charging with USB-A and USB-C ports to charge multiple devices. The price of the realme Power Bank will be at Rs 1,299.

In terms of software, all realme smartphones will get the new upgraded ColorOS 6.0, with a design upgrade, hotspot management function and will support Google AR Core functions. realme has also announced update roadmap for Android Q starting from Q1 in 2020.
