Big Screen and Bigger Battery To Tease Your Instinct

Kult is not a new name anymore in the Indian smartphone market and the main reason for its success is the availability of the smartphones in an affordable price range. The company stresses on budget smartphones providing all the necessary and latest features. The latest launch of the company is Kult Impulse and this model is different from its previous models which can be easily seen as it is bigger in size as compared to other previous smartphones from the company like Kult Beyond and Kult Ambition.

Kult Impulse design

The new Kult Impulse is featuring new size and it is beautiful to look at as well with tall screen. The phone has curvy body shape making it easy to hold. The weight of the phone is not a matter of concern as well as it is light and easy to carry around. The front fascia of the Kult Impulse has 5.99 inch display and above the display lies the selfie camera and also the front LED flash. The back side of the phone has the rear camera and below the camera lies twin LED flash and going further down one can sport the fingerprint sensor which is well within the reach. The phone has two SIM trays one at left and other at right side. The left SIM tray is hybrid in nature capable of sporting a SIM and SDcard while the right SIM tray can hold one SIM card. At the top of the device lies the 3.5mm headphone jack and the micro USB port while at the bottom of the phone has just the speaker grille. The power button and the volume rockers are lying at the right side of the phone. The new Kult Impulse to stand out different from other budget range smartphones has introduced face unlock feature in it which is something new in budget range smartphones.

The new Kult Impulse has impressive display size of 5.99 inch complete HD. The display size provides satisfactory viewing experience with wide viewing angles. The screen ratio of the Kult impulse is of 18:9. There is 2.5D curved glass to protect the screen from any scratch any other further damage. The bigger screen size is apt for viewing multimedia files and video content.

The processor in the new Kult Impulse is MediaTek MTK6739 quad-core processor with ARM Mali-T720 MP1 650MHz GPU clocked at 1.5GHz. The processor offers great resistivity from any malfunctioning and failure of the apps and at same time keeping the device functioning in check. The RAM size of the phone is of 3GB and it handles multi-tasking very well and with the help of processor the RAM tends to keep device cool during heavy usage of the phone. Kult Impulse offers decent amount of internal storage as well which is 32GB and it can be further expanded with the help of microSD card which can be put in the dedicated card slot. The processing capabilities of Kult Impulse are decent enough to run through your daily tasks but, disappoints on gaming front. Kult Impulse still runs on Nougat 7.1, which was a big surprise for me in this era.

Kult Impulse camera

Kult Impulse is carrying powerful selfie camera and rear camera both of 13 Megapixel with f/2.0 aperture respectively. The selfie camera can attract the selfie lovers as its 13MP lens provides clear images in every condition. The shots captured during daytime are very well detailed and the colours of the images are well preserved as there is no fading or could be said there is no difference when the image is captured. The camera has various modes as well like beauty mode and various filters. The front camera has front LED flash as well to provide clear and well detailed selfies even at night.  The rear camera is of 13MP and it has twin LED flash to assist in producing great amount of light during dark conditions and allows capturing detailed image even at night with no problem of graining. The daytime shots are clear and crystal as well and you get to choose various modes which suits your mood offered by the rear camera.

The battery power of the Kult Impulse is impressive as well with 4,000mAh battery power. The battery is non removable in nature. With 4,000mAh battery power one can enjoy long hour of fin and entertainment with no issue of plugging the phone at charge regularly in short occasions. The smartphone does generate heat while charging.

The new Kult Impulse has bigger screen size, huge battery and matching camera performance. The smartphone has the potential of being your next choice under 10-K category. The 4,000mAh battery is a clear winner in the Impulse. The dated OS is a big let-down for Kult Impulse and we didn’t expect it now. The smartphone is priced at Rs 8,999 for the 3GB variant to compete with the Redmi Note 5 and Realme 1. The Kult Impulse will surely have its task cut out against the fierce competition of price vs specs.
