OPPO has officially launched the Oppo Reno 16 series in select global markets including Thailand and Malaysia. The new lineup globally consists of three smartphones, the OPPO Reno 16 Pro 5G, OPPO Reno 16 5G and OPPO Reno 16 F 5G. While the three devices share a common design language and software experience, they differ in terms of processors, camera hardware, battery capacities, and display sizes to cater to different price segments.
Reno 16 series also introduces several new features including the AI-powered Snap Key and support for the new OPPO Bubble smart accessory. Here’s everything you need to know about the new series.
OPPO Reno 16 Series – Price and Availability
In Thailand, the OPPO Reno 16 Pro 5G is available in a single 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant priced at THB 26,999 (approximately $810). It comes in Starlight Black and Pop White colour options.
The OPPO Reno 16 5G starts at THB 19,999 (approximately $600) for the 8GB + 256GB model, while the 12GB + 256GB variant is priced at THB 22,999 (approximately $690). It is offered in Pop White, Twilight Violet, and Dream Purple colours.
The OPPO Reno 16 F 5G is priced at THB 15,999 (approximately $480) for the 8GB + 128GB version, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs THB 16,999 (approximately $510). It is available in Pop White, Dream Purple, and Twilight Violet colour options.
OPPO Reno 16 Pro 5G – Key Specifications

The Reno 16 Pro 5G is the flagship model in the lineup. It features a 6.32-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2640 × 1216 pixels, support for up to a 144Hz refresh rate in supported games, 10-bit colour reproduction, and up to 1,800 nits of high brightness mode.
Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Super chipset paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
The device packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging.
For photography, the Reno 16 Pro includes a 200-megapixel primary camera with 2-axis optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS. On the front, it features a 50-megapixel autofocus selfie camera.

The standard Reno 16 5G is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and comes with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
It sports the same 6.32-inch AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution but offers a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,800 nits of high brightness mode.
The smartphone houses a larger 6,700mAh battery while retaining support for 80W fast charging.
Its camera setup consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor with 2-axis OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom with OIS. Selfies are handled by a 50-megapixel autofocus front camera.
OPPO Reno 16 F 5G – Key Specifications

The Reno 16 F 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
It features a larger 6.57-inch Crystal Guard AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 1,400 nits of peak high brightness mode.
The Reno 16 F packs the biggest battery in the series at 7,000mAh and also supports 80W fast charging.
For photography, it is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with 2-axis OIS, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 50-megapixel telephoto camera offering 3.5x optical zoom with OIS. A 50-megapixel autofocus front-facing camera completes the setup.
Oppo Reno 16 Series – Features and AI Snap Key
All three smartphones run Android 16 with ColorOS 16 and come equipped with an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, an IR blaster, and dual SIM 5G connectivity.
The Reno 16 Pro and Reno 16 also support eSIM functionality.
The devices feature an aluminium frame, Crystal Guard protection, and carry IP68, IP69, and IP69K ratings for dust and water resistance.

A key addition to the Reno 16 lineup is the AI-powered Snap Key, which makes its first appearance on a Reno smartphone after previously being exclusive to the Find X series. The customisable side button allows users to quickly access selected functions and AI-powered features without navigating through menus, offering a more convenient user experience.
OPPO Bubble Smart Accessory Introduced

Alongside the Reno 16 series, OPPO also unveiled the Bubble Mag E-Badge, a magnetic smart display accessory compatible with supported ColorOS smartphones.
The accessory attaches magnetically to the back of the phone and features a 1.73-inch AMOLED display that can show a live preview from the rear camera, making selfies and group photos easier to frame.
It also doubles as a remote camera shutter with support for up to 10 metres of wireless operation. Users can personalise the display with custom images, animations, and short videos.
Weighing 27.5 grams and measuring just 7mm thick, the Bubble accessory packs a 550mAh battery and carries an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.
