Oppo has officially started teasing its upcoming A7-series smartphone, the Oppo A7 Pro Max, ahead of its expected launch in China. After recent reports hinted at the arrival of the company’s first A7-series handset, Oppo has now shared the first official teaser that gives a glimpse of the smartphone’s rear design. The teaser also confirms one of the device’s massive battery specs. Here’s everything revealed about the upcoming smartphone so far.

Oppo A7 Pro Max Teaser – Design and Key Specs Revealed

The official teaser shows the Oppo A7 Pro Max featuring a slightly raised rectangular rear camera module. The camera sensors are positioned on the left side of the module, while the LED flash sits on the right. The power button and volume rocker are placed along the right edge of the handset.

Oppo A7 Pro Max Teaser – What Else We know So Far?

A recent Geekbench listing has revealed that the Oppo A7 Pro Max is expected to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset. The smartphone is likely to be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and offer up to 512GB of internal storage.

According to reports, the smartphone will feature a 50-megapixel primary rear camera accompanied by a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front, it is expected to offer a 50-megapixel selfie camera.

The Oppo A7 Pro Max is tipped to sport a 6.78-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also expected to include an in-display fingerprint scanner and run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16 out of the box.

The standout feature of the Oppo A7 Pro Max is its battery. The official teaser confirms that the smartphone will pack a 10,000mAh battery, making it the largest battery ever offered on an Oppo smartphone. It will also support 80W fast charging.

Despite housing such a large battery, the handset is said to measure only 8.47mm in thickness and weigh 226 grams.

While Oppo has not yet announced an official launch date, the teaser suggests that the Oppo A7 Pro Max could make its debut in China in the coming days.
