Oppo has officially confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Oppo A7 Pro Max in China after teasing the smartphone over the past few days. The handset’s biggest attraction is its massive 10,000mAh battery, which is claimed to be the largest battery ever featured on an Oppo smartphone. Along with the launch date, the company has also revealed new details about the phone’s design, colour options, and storage variants.
Oppo A7 Pro Max Launch Date, Colours and Variants

The Oppo A7 Pro Max is scheduled to launch in China on August 4. It will become the brand’s first smartphone to feature a 10,000mAh battery.
Oppo is promoting the device as a “next-generation durability legend” and claims that its battery is designed to maintain long-term performance for up to seven years. Despite the huge battery capacity, the smartphone will support 80W wired fast charging to reduce charging time.
To keep the device slim, Oppo has used a silicon-carbon anode single-cell battery design instead of the traditional dual-cell setup. According to the company, this design requires less space for internal wiring and power management components. As a result, the phone measures 8.47mm in thickness and weighs 226g, which is notable for a smartphone equipped with a five-digit battery capacity.

According to the official pre-order listing, the smartphone will be available in Black, Orange, and Gradient White colour options. It will also be offered in three storage configurations that are 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage.
Oppo A7 Pro Max Specifications (Expected)
The Oppo A7 Pro Max is expected to feature a 6.78-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is tipped to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 processor and is expected to be available with up to 12GB of RAM.
The handset is also expected to retain a 3.5mm headphone jack and feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for biometric authentication.
For photography, the Oppo A7 Pro Max is tipped to come with a vertically aligned dual rear camera setup including a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary camera. On the front, the smartphone is expected to feature a 50-megapixel selfie camera for selfies and video calls.
On the software front, the device is expected to ship with ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
As of now, Oppo has not shared any details regarding the global launch or availability of the Oppo A7 Pro Max.
