OnePlus 16 is reportedly set to be announced in China in October. As of now, there is currently no confirmation about whether OnePlus will launch the smartphone in global markets. Nonetheless, the flagship device has already started appearing in benchmark platforms and online databases. Model number PYB110, widely considered to be OnePlus 16, was recently spotted on the 3C certification platform. And now, we have details of the Geekbench listing surfacing.
OnePlus 16 on Geekbench – Key Details
As per reports, OnePlus 16 reportedly crossed 3,000 points in the single-core test, while its multi-core score was around 11,000 points.
Geekbench identifies the OnePlus 16 with Qualcomm’s SM8975 chipset. While the listing does not reveal the commercial name of the processor, reports suggest that this hardware could belong to the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro. The chipset is said to reach clock speeds of up to 5.01GHz.
The listed device has 16GB of RAM and runs Android 16. In China, the smartphone is expected to use ColorOS 17.
OnePlus 16 Expected Specifications
According to reports, the OnePlus 16 could come with a 6.78-inch BOE X4 OLED display featuring a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate. If this refresh rate arrives on the final device, the display would be among the faster panels expected on upcoming flagship phones. The smartphone is also tipped to feature a 50-megapixel front camera.
On the back, the OnePlus 16 is expected to use a triple-camera system. The setup could consist of a 200-megapixel primary camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera and a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
The upcoming OnePlus phone is also tipped to feature a 9,000mAh battery. Its reported 3C certification indicates support for 100W wired charging, while the device is also expected to support 50W wireless charging.
