A new Flame Red colour variant of Redmi Note 5 has been launched by Xiaomi on its home soil in China. The device appears at a price tag of Rs 1,399 Yuan which is approx Rs 14,500 couple with 64GB inbuilt storage and 4GB RAM.
In February this year, the company has launched the new Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro smartphones in India. The Flame Red colour variant of Redmi Note 5 was earlier leaked in April that showed the possibility of launching the phone soon. In India, the phone is launched in Gold, Black, Lake Blue, and Rose Gold colour variants.
Now, it is also speculated the new Red Flame edition of Redmi Note 5 will be launched in India soon. The specification of the new variant Redmi Note 5 is same as the one introduced in India couple of months back.
Coming to the specifications, the Redmi Note 5 appears in two variants in terms of RAM and ROM; a 3GB RAM and 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM. It is backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset coupled with Adreno 506 GPU.
The camera department flaunts a 12MP primary sensor and with 1.25-micron pixel and f/2.2 aperture, while the selfie camera has 5MP sensor coupled with LED flash and Beautify 3.0. The connectivity options include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, WiFi, GPS, dual-SIM, and micro USB port. It is powered by a 4000 mAh battery and operates on Android 7.1.2 Nougat based on MIUI 9.
