Xiaomi is under speculations to bring the alleged Redmi Note 5 to life. Adding to the list of rumours, we have a new leaked render tipping at the looks and design of the smartphone.
According to an image leaked in a new report, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 is likely to sport dual cameras at the back, coming with a bezel-less display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9. The dual-camera setup (placed vertically) could be accompanied by a LED flash, followed by a fingerprint scanner. Additionally, the antenna bands run vertically at the top and bottom of the back of the smartphone.
Even though not much is known about the technical specifications of the Redmi Note 5, it is suggested that the smartphone could come with a 5.99-inch full HD+ display with minimal bezels at the top and the bottom and might be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. The device could come equipped with 4GB of RAM and either 32GB or 64GB of internal storage options.
The dual cameras at the back are speculated to be rated at 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel, while the front-facing snapper is likely to stand at 8-megapixel. The Redmi Note 5 is expected to be backed by a 4,100mAh battery and run Android 8.0 Oreo with MIUI 9.0 on top.
Xiaomi is expected to unveil the purported Redmi Note 5 at an event in India scheduled for February 14. To know what the smartphone turns out to be, we need to wait until the launch event. Therefore, stay tuned.
