Xiaomi is all set to unveil the third installment of its Mi Max series, dubbed the Mi Max 3 for which the rumours are in overdrive. The recent one is in the form of a picture hinting at the imminent launch of the alleged smartphone.
According to a post on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo, Xiaomi CEO- Lei Jun has leaked the image of a retail box likely to belong to the upcoming Mi Max 3 smartphone.
While the image doesn’t tell much about the Mi Max 3, it suggests that the smartphone is soon to make its entry, preferably this month in China.
Additionally, past rumours hint at a huge 6.9-inch display with a screen resolution rated at 2,160 x 1,080 pixels and an aspect ratio standing at 18:9 for minimal bezels. The Mi Max 3 is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 mobile platform, coupled with up to 6GB of RAM.
The device is speculated to fall in the mid-segment, come with a battery capacity rated at 5,500mAh, and run Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10 on top.
