After several leaks and speculations, Xiaomi has finally made the third iteration of its Mi Max series, called the Mi Max 3 official in China.
The main USP of the new Mi Max 3 is the massive 5,500mAh battery backing it. Another highlight is the huge 6.9-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9 for minimal bezels.
On the camera front, the Mi Max 3 houses a dual-camera setup at the back, rated at 12-megapixel and 5-megapixel with dual-pixel phase detection AF and support for bokeh effect. The one at the front stands at 8-megapixel. Additionally, the smartphone is accompanied by various AI-based camera features.
The smartphone is powered by octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile platform clocked at 1.8GHz. It comes in two RAM/ROM variants: 4GB RAM/64GB ROM and 6GB RAM/128GB ROM, both the options coming with the option to expand with the help of a memory card.
The Mi Max 3 runs the company’s MIUI 9.5 (upgradable to MIUI 10) based on Android 8.1 Oreo. Furthermore, the smartphone sports a fingerprint sensor at the back.
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 is priced at CNY 1,699 (4GB RAM/64GB ROM) and CNY 1,999 (6GB RAM/128GB ROM)
The Xiaomi Mi Max 3 comes in Black, Champagne Gold, and Blue colour options.
