Xaiomi Redmi 6 Pro has finally hit the floor with a a tall 19:9 display and an iPhone X-like notch. Earlier, it has unleashed Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A in China. Redmi 6 Pro is the first budget smartphone of Xiaomi that will go on for sale in China from June 26. Besides launching this smartphone, it has finally launched its new tablet, Mi Pad 4.
The smartphone has appeared in three variants; 3GB/32GB Rom that carries a price tag of RMB 999, (approx Rs 10,400), 4GB/32GB ROM variant is priced at 1,199, (approx Rs 12,500), while the high end 4GB/64GB Rom variant is priced at RMB 1,299 (approx Rs 13,600).
The USP of the device is its AI backed dual camera sensor that aids clickers to click better images with the unique scene detection mode. Another one is the AI portrait mode that helps add DSLR like bokeh effects on the photos by detecting between the background and the foreground.
For photography, the phone sports a dual primary sesnors a12MP and 5MP depth sensor couple with f/2.2 aperture. The front camera include a 5MP sensor. The phone is fueled by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 octa-core SoC clocked at 2GHz and is powered by a 4,000mAh battery.
The phone operates on Android 8.1 Oreo with MIUI 10 skin on top and features a 5.84-inch full HD+ display along with a resolution of 1080×2280 pixels and 19:9 display.
Mi Pad 4
The device will go on for sale in China from June 29. The tablet will be available in two variants; 32GB+3GB RAM model priced at RMB 1,099 (Rs 11,500 approximately), and 64GB+4GB RAM model priced at RMB 1,399 (Rs 14,600 approximately).
But, users must note that Wi-Fi+LTE variant will only be available with 64GB storage, and 4GB RAM. It is priced at RMB 1,499 (Rs 15,600 approximately). It will be available in two colour variants, gold and black. The tablet operates on Android Oreo-based MIUI.
For optics, the tablet flaunts a 13Mp primary sensor along with f/2.0 aperture and HDR support. The front camera features a 5MP sensor and also equipped with a sophisticated face unlock feature as an added security.
The Mi Pad 4 sports an 8-inch full HD (1920×1200 pixels) display with 16:10 aspect ratio. The Mi Pad 4 is backed by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset clocked at 2.2GHz and is powered by a huge 6,000mAh battery. The connectivity options include single SIM slot (LTE variant), Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, 3.5mm audio jack, and USB Type-C port.
