Voto Mobiles will launch three smartphones under the sub 10k smartphone segment to enter the highly competitive smartphone market in India. It is aiming to target 2% of market share and project to sell more than a million smartphone units in India by the end of the ongoing financial year, as declared by company spokesperson.
Voto mobiles are purely meant for the common Indian “Youth” and allow all the users to use inbuilt features at extremely moderate prices. The tagline as it says “Redefine Yourself” depicts an attitude of fulfillment and comes out of someone while getting something with fullest of satisfaction.
“More and more Chinese brands are entering in India and are now contributing to more than 3/4 of the total smartphone market. India is one of the most potential markets for Smartphones and demand for it is growing every year. In the initial phase, alongside India, we have plans to enter Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, and Nepal too.” said VOTO official from China.
Voto currently have a substantial sale of its handsets in China under an exclusive partnership with Telco China Mobile. In China, VOTO’s handsets are manufactured by Xunrui Communications, which makes devices for several global mobile brands. Voto Mobiles leverages Xunrui’s research and development (R&D) and product design expertise. Voto plans to invest Rs. 500 crore on operations, marketing and promotions in India. They are coming up with branded store mainly into Utility products as well as in Accessories also. Their branded accessories sold into 80 countries, all across the world.
