Vivo has been rumoured to unveil a new smartphone in its V series, dubbed the Vivo V9 for a while. Now, the company is expected to bring the smartphone to the Indian shores soon.
According to a new report, the new member in the V series is likely to enter the Indian market on March 27 and could be priced at Rs 25,000, higher than its predecessors- the Vivo V7 and the Vivo V7 Plus.
While not much is known about the smartphone, the Vivo V9 (previously teased on the company’s Indonesia site) is expected to come with the arguably popular notch, much like the iPhone X. The notch is likely to comprise an earpiece, front-facing snapper and sensors.
The smartphone could come with really thin bezels and feature a front-facing snapper rated at 24-megapixel, much like the predecessor- the Vivo V7. Furthermore, it is suggested that the rear dual cameras could be aligned vertically, the fingerprint scanner could be housed at the back, and the smartphone is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.
Additionally, Vivo is expected to unveil the Vivo X21 with an under-the-display fingerprint scanner in China at the event scheduled for March 19.
However, we don’t have anything substantial as of now. To know what the Vivo V9 is like we need to wait until the launch scheduled for March 27. Therefore, stay tuned to My Mobile.
