Summer vacations have begun and saving kids from the dilemma of how to spend the long summer break, Google has introduced the Summer with Google campaign in India.
Google, in its blog post said, “It’s that time of the year when the temperatures are rising, schools are closed for vacations and more often than not, kids are glued to their screens! Yes it’s summertime, and while you may be worried about your kids spending some extra hours on the Internet, we feel you can use that time to bond with them, learn together, encourage them to make new discoveries and help them be responsible explorers of the web.”
The new campaign by Google includes four assignments in totality for the children to learn in a fun and interactive way. The assignments involve various Google apps such as Google Earth, Google Translate, Google Arts and Culture for the assignments and will also involve the development of the kids’ own app.
The assignments contain questions and aims to inculcate various qualities such as Internet Smart, Internet Alert, Internet Strong, Internet Kind and Internet Brave in the kids.
Additionally, the assignments can be accessed on the #SummerWithGoogle website and Google’s social media handles every week along with several instructions to commence with them.
Furthermore, at the end of the four-week campaign, Google will host Summer Camp at Google’s Gurgaon and Hyderabad campus, bringing about up to 100 participants to the camp with his or her guardians.
