Sony has unveiled a new smartphone in the mid-segment, dubbed the Xperia XA2 Plus- the successor to last year’s Xperia XA1 Plus.

The smartphone which is “designed to entertain” comes with support for Hi-Red audio for a high-quality music experience.

The Xperia XA2 Plus comes with a 6-inch full HD+ display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9 for a bezel-less experience. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 mobile platform, and comes in two RAM/ROM variants: 4GB RAM/32GB ROM and 6GB RAM/64GB ROM, both the options being expandable up to 400GB via a memory card.xperiaX A2 Plus

On the camera front, the smartphone houses a 23-megapixel rear snapper with 4K video recording and 120 fps slow-motion recording, while the front shooter stands at 8-megapixel with super wide-angle lens. The front camera supports Bokeh effect and other beauty filter options.

The Xperia XA2 Plus gets its fuel from a 3,580mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging and Quick Charge 3.0 tech, and runs Android 8.1 Oreo. Additionally, the Xperia XA2 Plus is accompanied by a fingerprint sensor at the back.

The Sony Xperia XA2 Plus comes in Silver, Black, Green and Gold colour options. However, there is no word on its pricing and availability details yet.
