Samsung’s alleged Android Go smartphone images leaked

Samsung is rumoured to unveil a budget Android Go smartphone soon. Rumours and leaks have started building up and the recent one is in the form of leaked images giving us an inkling about the looks and design of the rumoured smartphone.

According to a report by Sam Mobile, the leaked images of the Android Go smartphone (with Android 8.1 Go OS) hints at various Go apps by Google, however, the smartphone could not run stock Android. Instead, the device is expected to run Samsung’s Experience UX, much like various other Samsung devices.

The Android 8.0 Go smartphone, likely to be called Galaxy J2 Core is expected to sport the standard aspect ratio rated at 16:9 and feature a single-camera module at the back.

While not much is known about the device, rumours suggest that the smartphone could come with a 5-inch Super AMOLED display. It is expected to be powered by quad-core Exynos 7570 processor, coupled with 1GB of RAM. There could be 16GB of internal storage and a 2,600mAh battery.

On the camera front, the Android Go device could house an 8-megapixel rear snapper and a 5-megapixel front camera.

However, the aforementioned information is just a rumour and should be taken with a grain of salt. To know about Samsung’s first Android Go smartphone, stay tuned.
