The Samsung Galaxy smartphones to receive Oreo update

Now, it seems that Samsung smartphone users will receive the latest Android Oreo update on their favorite Galaxy smartphones, including the mid-range segments, according to XDA Developers. It has discovered numerous XML resources whose codenames are of the Galaxy smartphones and they are speculated to be tested for Android Oreo update soon.

The Samsung Galaxy smartphones that are expected to be equipped with Oreo update are Samsung Galaxy A3 2017, Galaxy A5 2017, Galaxy A7 2017, Galaxy A8 2016 SM-A810, Galaxy A8 2018, Galaxy A8+ 2018, Galaxy J3 2017, Galaxy J5 2017, Galaxy J7 2017, Galaxy J7+, Galaxy J7 Duos 2017, Galaxy J7 Max, Galaxy J7 Neo, Galaxy J7 Prime, Galaxy Note FE, Galaxy Note 8, Galaxy S7, Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S8 Active, Galaxy S8, and Galaxy S8+, according to a report of BGR.

But, there are couple of Galaxy series, which will be restricted to Android Nougat only. The devices are Galaxy S6 and Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge, Galaxy S6 Active, Galaxy A7 (2016), Galaxy A5 (2016), Galaxy A3 (2016), Galaxy J3 (2016), and Galaxy J2 (2016).

Couple of tablets, which would receive Oreo update are Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8.0 SM-T355, Galaxy Tab A 8.0 SM-T380/T385 2017, Galaxy Tab A 10.1 SM-T580, Galaxy Tab Active 2, Galaxy Tab E 8.0, and Galaxy Tab S3 SM-T825, claims BGR upon XML resources of XDA Developers.

The state-of-the-art Oreo features include Background Execution Limit, Picture-in-Picture mode, a new set of emojis, Notification Channels, and Autofill feature for login credentials will appear on all the Galaxy devices mentioned above.
