Samsung’s next flagship for 2019- the Galaxy S10 series have already started featuring in the rumour mill. In addition to the existing rumours, the recent one hints at some more specs the smartphones might come with.
According to a report by The Bell, the alleged Galaxy S10+ (codenamed Beyond 2) is expected to house five cameras in total- three at the back and two at the front, becoming Samsung’s first-ever smartphone to come with five camera sensors.
While not much is known about the forthcoming S10 series, it is expected that Samsung could bring two more variants of the Galaxy S10 to life; one could be the base model with a single-camera setup (codenamed Beyond 0) while the other is likely to house dual cameras at the back (codenamed Beyond 1).
Additionally, the alleged Galaxy S10 is expected to feature an in-display fingerprint sensor and could drop the iris scanner and adopt 3D camera sensors for facial recognition.
The Samsung Galaxy S10 series is expected to arrive next year (preferably during MWC 2019) which also coincides to be the Samsung S series’ 10th anniversary year.
