The mid-range Samsung Galaxy J7 duo, which was launched this year at a price of Rs 16,990 has now received another price cut of Rs 1000. Previously, another discount of Rs 3,000 was announced by the firm and with this price slash the smartphone is now available in the market at a price of Rs 12,990.
A total discount of Rs 4,000 is now offered on this newly launched device. With this new price tag, the new Samsung Galaxy J7 duo would throw tough competition towards Xiaomi’s Redmi Note 5, Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 and Oppo Realme 1 in the mid-range (Rs 15,000) segment. The discounted Galaxy J7 duo is now available on all leading online retailers such as Amazon, Flipkart and Samsung’s official website.
Most importantly, the same handset will be available on offline stores at the same discounted price tag. As of now, the company is yet to provide official announcement about the time limit of the discount offer.
The galaxy J7 duo sports a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 16:9 aspect ratio. Devoid of 18:9 screen and thin bezels the phone is furnished with an AMOLED panel instead of LCD. It is one of the first mid-range Galaxy smartphone to feature a dual rear camera.
The phone is fueled by Samsung‘s inbuilt Exynos 7885 octa-core chupset coupled with the Mali-G71 GPU. For optics, the phone features dual rear camera setup, which includes a 13MP primary sensor with f/1.9 aperture and secondary 5-megapixel depth sensor with f/1.9 aperture. Along with a 4GB RAM, the phone features a 32GB Rom that can be expanded upto 256GB via external microSD card.
