Samsung Galaxy J6 and J8 sales cross 2M units since launch

The recently unveiled Samsung Galaxy J6 and the Galaxy J8 in the Galaxy J series have achieved a milestone of sale of 2 million units since their respective launches in May and July this year.

It is suggested that both the smartphones have become ‘hugely popular’, attracting around 50,000 customers every day.

To recall, the Galaxy J6 has the 5.6-inch HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display as its highlight. The camera department (with a 13-megapixel primary snapper and an 8-megapixel front camera) supports AI-based features and is another highlight.

The smartphone is powered by Exynos 7870 processor and comes in two RAM/ROM options: 3GB RAM/32GB ROM (Rs 13,990) and 4GB RAM/64GB ROM. The Galaxy J6 is backed by a 3,000mAh battery and runs Android 8.0 Oreo.

Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy J6 supports a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, Face Unlock feature, Chat-over-call feature, and Samsung Mall.

The Samsung Galaxy J6 is priced at Rs 13,990 (3GB RAM/32GB ROM) and Rs 15,990 (4GB RAM/64GB ROM).

Coming to the Galaxy J8, the smartphone too comes with HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display rated at 6-inch. Another attraction is the camera department with dual rear cameras, rated at 16-megapixel and 5-megapixel, and a 16-megapixel front shooter.

The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM. It is equipped with 64GB of internal storage, has a 3,500mAh battery and runs Android 8.0 Oreo.

Furthermore, the Galaxy J8 supports a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, facial recognition, and Chat-over-call feature.

The Samsung Galaxy J8 comes with a price tag of Rs 18,990.
