Samsung Galaxy J4 with Advanced Memory Management now in India


Samsung has unveiled a new budget smartphone in its Galaxy J series, known as the Samsung Galaxy J4 in India.

In terms of the specs, the Galaxy J4 comes with a 5.5-inch HD Super AMOLED display and is powered by quad-core Exynos 7570 processor and Mali-T720 MP1 GPU, clocked at 1.4GHz. The smartphone comes in two RAM/ROM variants: 2GB RAM/16GB ROM and 3GB RAM/32GB ROM, both the options being expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card.

In the camera department, there is a 13-megapixel primary snapper with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing one, also with LED flash. The Galaxy J4 gets its power from a 3,000mAh battery and runs Android 8.0 Oreo.


The smartphone houses dual-SIM card slots and comes with connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, a 3.5mm audio jack, and micro USB port. Furthermore, the smartphone has 15GB of Samsung Cloud storage.

Additionally, the Galaxy J4 comes equipped with a ‘Make in India’ feature called the Advanced Memory Management which will save internal storage for the users by automatically transferring the media to the external storage.

The Samsung Galaxy J4 is priced at Rs 9,990 (2GB RAM/16GB ROM) and Rs 11,990 (3GB RAM/32GB ROM) and comes in blue, black and gold colour options.
